Shadow goes off on a journey to try and solve the mysterious chao disappearances but he soon runs into trouble as he stumbles on to Eggman, asking for help, and his most powerful creation, Metal Sonic.  Who will they encounter during this adventure?  Why are there two Eggmans?  Will Shadow ever figure out the disappearances of the chao?  Read to find out!  Hello!  This story is based off the SONIC RIVALS series.  As you may have guessed, I do not own any of the characters or the SONIC RIVALS series.  Some of the lines from the story actually came from the game.  It's a FRIENDSHIP between Shadow and Metal Sonic, NOT love! What was meant to be a simple rescue mission turns out to be a week-long trek across an island as Sonic and friends race to fix their powers. Knuckles and Rouge address the elephant in the room.
