So, a while ago I wrote a short story for school. Many of the people who read my story said I should continue the story and whatnot. I decided to expand the story into a novel. as of [5/1/18], I'm still rewriting it. However, I chose to release the original, short, six- page version of this story. so here it is. *awkward jazz hands*

Brooklyn's best friend was killed. Later, Brooklyn finds a stack of letters addressed to her, from Paris. There's seven, and each one contains a dangerous secret about someone Brooklyn thought she knew. Except for one person whose secret is in one of the letters, they don't want anyone else to know. and they'll go to great lengths to keep the secret from getting out.

I am republishing this for a friend who wanted to read a sample of my work. The plot is all over the place, but I know I'll revisit it in future. I initially wrote this in 2017 before I knew a lot of things I know now. There's a lot in here that is culturally insensitive. I have done my best to edit out what I could find at first glance, but if you see something glaringly offensive please make a comment about it so that I can correct my errors. The most egregious example that comes to mind is using the G-word for the Romani and relying on unflattering stereotypes. I plan to correct a lot of this in proceeding drafts. This is my first fanfic so don't judge my writing and everything. I just wanted to write something. This story is about a girl falling for a boy during high school. She continues to like him. One day, she found out that she has a disease and she won't be able to live long so she decided to confess to the boy before she's gone. After confessing to the boy, everyone made fun of her and everything because she was a loner and no one likes to hang out with her. Also the boy has told the whole school after she confess to him. This is just a little side thing where I challenge myself. I'm running a game on a discord server where the members give me a word of their choice and I have to create a quick mini Shadamy story on the spot based on that word. Few times there are several words combined. I have now chosen that these little stories should be shared with more people, as there are some of them that I myself enjoy or like very much. But beware, these little stories are quick rough stories, so there may be typos and grammatical errors as I don't go over them as thoroughly as my other fanfics. The title for each chapter will be the word/words the story is based on. A few of my smaller random ideas may also pop up. And more stories will come with time. The stories here are SFW!

I was motivated to write this piece because the staggeringly small number of Melizabeth M-rated ficlets is a travesty. Of course, the only way to solve that is to write something of my own to add to the pot, so here we are!
