After helping the mermaids, Emerson is happy to get back to normal life, and he is thrilled that his days often include visits from pretty Saria Beggley. Not all is right with the world, however. Pirates have begun terrorizing ships around the eastern islands in the chain; and ships, sailors, and even passengers are going missing every day.

When Emerson and Saria are captured, they discover the pirates are not what they thought-even moreso the feared Pirate King responsible for it all. When a legendary phantom ship shows up in Cayan waters, the mysterious crew enlists Emerson's help in stopping the ever-expanding menace of the pirates.

As Emerson's feelings for Saria begin to blossom, he wants nothing more than to see her safely home to Chadwick. But the only way to safety for any of them is by thwarting the plans of the Pirate King.

It's a deadly plan, and it goes like this: First, become a crew member of the Avourienne, a pirate ship notorious for its charismatic captain and wicked ways. Second, trick the ship's cunning strategist, famous for winning every game she's ever played, into believing a delicately spun lie. Third, get close enough to their tyrant king to put a knife through him. Deadly doesn't quite describe such a plan. In fact, inconceivable may be the better word. But Archer Kingsley has a knack for such things, and he feels he's going to pull off this plan with the ease he does most everything. Perhaps he's not quite aware of the absolute hell that's about to break loose, but truthfully, it's so much better that way. Because true adventures are born from uncertainty. * Cover by xxsoteria Mature themes you may encounter in this book: - harsh language (it's a pirate book) - violence (it's a pirate book) - sexual implications (it's a PIRATE book) However, this story does not violate any of Wattpad's mature guidelines and therefore is not marked as such. 26 parts Complete

Princess Sarah, the daughter of Queen Adeline & King Gillroy of Once-upon-a Time, wants adventure and roguish romance in her life. Unfortunately, she has a duty to her people...and oh how she hates it! She knows a marriage proposal is coming from her childhood friend, the almost annoyingly upright Prince Daniel, the son of Queen Eudora and King Darrick, whilst their families enjoy their yearly summer, beach vacation. Daniel is the best man in Fairy Tale; but, is he the best man for Sarah? Though they've been intended since babyhood, she's just not sure how she should respond to his impending proposal. Like an answered prayer, Sarah doesn't have to come up with an answer right away. The princess is kidnapped by pirates and whisked off on a thrilling romp upon the Sea of Diamonds with mermaids, sea monsters and dangerous pixies all threatening the crew. Whille all these legendary creatures are exciting in their way, its the mystery of her captor, the Pirate King, that really sparks Sarah's curiosity. Figuring out the Pirate King seems an innocent enough distraction...until Sarah realizes uncovering the truth behind this complicated young man will lead to self-discovery further complicating the dreams she envisions for her future.
