She used to be the "Top 1 Best Setter" in the girls' prefecture during her Junior High days. People call her the "Magician Setter" because whenever she's on the court, her tosses are too magical that she was able to bring out the best of her spikers.
But all Akamuri Jiya wants is a 'normal life', but because of her popularity, she decides to just disappear on the public and the volleyball stage as well, and never to return again. She is now keeping her profile as low as possible, and she'd like to keep it that way. Or so she thought.
As she gets closer to the Fukurodani Boys' Volleyball Team, especially Akaashi Keiji, her so called 'low-profile' are now into a catastrophic situation.
