Before his death, his mother pleaded Death to give her unborn child a second chance to live but she was rejected but only to be saved by Life, the entity who was incharged of giving souls

The child lives with his now single father but died as he became 10 due to a certain disease. He later on moves in with his step-aunt who doesn't cared his existence, he got bullied by his own step brother and schoolmates.

The grim reaper however, was there the whole time as she was curious about him, it was a rare sight to see a soul to be saved by the cosmic entity. Life. she saw everything in the boy's life. She saw how weak and worthless he is. She thought that if he was not saved, he wouldn't expirence this.

As time past by she begun to grew fond of him. She saw that his classmates are gonna bully him again, usually she ignored this but now she's pissed. She saved him and showed herself. She took him and let him live with her...
