Adalia Grova is a powerful witch from the royal Grova line, and she has inherited an extremely rare power, necromancy. There are less than a handful of witches who possess this power, most even call it a curse. Adalia has been running most of her life from those who wish to wipe out the necromancers, but when you are royal is hiding even possible?

Her twin sister, Lilian Grova, now the only representative of the royal line, has been scouring the lands for her sister hoping for a safe return. Lilian has been getting closer than ever to finding her, and Adalia is worried that if her sister could find her, the Hunters can't be far behind.

Moving from forest to village and back again, she stumbles on a small campsite, buried deep in the woods. She soon discovers it is a camp of three young necromancers also hiding from the Hunters.

Bonds are formed and danger ensues, will Adalia and her new friends be able to escape the Hunters or will they fall prey to their sadistic ruthlessness? Find out in The Necromancer.

The Misadventures of Anna Cabbot by MollyLouise
44 parts Complete Mature
Anna Cabbot is both a self-proclaimed ditchwitch and, by flat-lining during an unexpected visit from Death in cardiac ICU, an unwilling necromancer. The latter has her starting her new tenure in Buffalo with more side-eye and less friendship bracelets from the local magical community. Her first real friend - aside from her landlady neighbor - is a selkie named Carson who introduces himself by flopping out of the Niagara River onto her lap. Before that fateful night is out, Anna's a one-woman magical cavalry for the Lady of Lake Erie and knee deep in an adventure she didn't ask for. Nigel, the Lady of Lake Erie's brother, has gone missing. Anna's urge to help those in need has her - and Carson - diving headfirst into the mystery of Nigel's disappearance. First and foremost is a visit to the Bookkeeper, the top of Buffalo's magical food chain whose fingers are seemingly in every pie worth eating. They closest they come to the elusive Bookkeeper is Jamie Murdock, the hired muscle. Jamie's content to divulge what little he knows about Nigel, but he's more interested in Anna on a personal level, and Anna will have decide if her head and her heart are on the same page when it comes to her interest in him. And if that's not enough to deal with, Death keeps popping up at inopportune moments, and definitely not just for giggles. Anna's got more mysteries than she knows what to do with, and the few clues she has lead directly to the dark waters of Lake Erie and a bigger, more complicated magic than she's ever seen before - a magic she isn't sure she can handle.

[ magic, romance and madness. ] Everyone knew that a romance between a guardian and their protégé always ended in tragedy - yet they risked it. One day, I read that in real-life fairy tales, the princess sometimes needs to befriend the dragon and kill the prince, perhaps not to the most extreme extent, considering the prince's utility. (*Wink*). Twenty years had passed since the demise of the last living descendant bearing the bloodline of a potent family within the mystical realm. Individuals who possessed magic more formidable than anyone could have fathomed and that very magic could be pilfered if they were to meet an untimely end-a rumour ignited like wildfire. Word began to spread about the sole surviving member of the Lysion family, the last vestige of a lineage renowned for their blessings from the gods (or, as some argue, their curses), once no more than bedtime tales for children. Two decades earlier, a game of hide and seek unfolded that culminated in the death of the final Lysion at the hands of Oldo Blake, a formidable figure in the annals of history. Or so the story goes. An obscure girl. A concealed secret. A relentless pursuit. With a motley crew of bewildering Other Siders on her trail and an absolute dearth of knowledge on how to harness her precious magic, Rosélina Johnson's life transformed from that of an inconspicuous university student to that of a fugitive in the mystic realm, utterly unprepared for what lay ahead.
