This is just a beta name for it, I'm up for any suggestions. This is also a WIP (Work-In-Progress) and honestly I'm done writing it for a LONG time.
So back in 2017, I started making a comic about a boy and his loyal dog (roughly about the time I got introduced to HeartBound), and this is what has become of it. I never actually finished the comic, really; I only finished two pages-worth, so I decided to make a bit on the boy's backstory, as much as what happened after The Incident.
When his dog was in danger, he could've reset. He could've fixed this if he had not been so ignorant. But alas, he was not careful, and he may have got what was coming to him. Two years after he had lost his best friend to The Incident, his guilt comes back to haunt him. Will he fix his mistake and stitch together the past, or will he leave it to rot and forget all his past faults?
As for his long-gone friend, what will become of him now?

March 2024 edit: I am not that proud of how the first few chapters turned out and I would prefer to rewrite them some time. They are not my *best* work, but they are not that bad. I just wish I could have improved them. - Only posted on Wattpad. The sequel to my Dog Man AU! Or.. prequel? No, just kidding. Parts of it just acts like one. - It's been 7½ years since the last story. Everything is going well, perfect, if you might say- Sid has finished college and is finally getting a career started, Sydney has a small job in mechanics and is now getting along with Zuzu, and Peter exists. As the hero and allies go to face off against the dark forces in one epic battle, faulty architectural support leads our protagonist to the bottom of the pit where she must decide the fate of not only her people, but her enemies' as well. This story was written for a friend of mine fore Christmas in about a week and was also the first story I ever completed so I understand that the writing isn't the greatest but that's why I'm putting it here, to get constructive criticism to help further my writing knowledge. I also do know that a lot of the names are from other works but they were a reference for my friend to figure out to make the story a little bit more personal for here (and now I'm posting it for the public but she said I could). Furthermore, if you notice any inconsistency in the names, like 'Frisk' being written instead of 'Fritz', just let me know and I'll fix it. !STORY IS UNFINISHED AND WILL NO LONGER BE UPDATED! You and your friends go to an anime / comic / sci-fi convention, you meet the turtles, depression ensues. Kind of a vent fic, and pretty angsty. This will touch on some sensitive topics, there'll be trigger warnings at the beginning of each chapter. The main character will be a man and pronouns used will be he/him, also trans friendly with no direct descriptions of the mc's body. All of the turtles will be love interests and I'll try to write separate endings for all of them + some additional endings.
