Maybe in the emptiness, I'll finally find a way to escape. But I know I won't. I never do. The darkness is just another cage, another prison, and I'm trapped, with no way out. So I lie there, in the silence, in the darkness, and I wait. Wait for the next day, for the next alarm, for the next moment that will never come. And I wonder, is this all there is? Is this all there will ever be? I'm so tired, tired of pretending, tired of trying, tired of everything. I just want it to stop, to end. I want to disappear, to fade away into nothing.

*Note: This is a First Person POV story of the game Undertale. I ripped everything from this off of that game. I am completely unoriginal. The main character wakes up in the middle of an underground world, filled with danger. The path to escape is a very dangerous one. Only the most determined can get through. How will this turn out?

Have you ever felt so lonely you believed there was nothing left for you? Stashed away, merely forgotten. I mean you could cry and cry, yet no one would hear you. At least no one you truly once loved. Being yourself can be detrimental to others happiness, and so you down play who you are. You devalue your beliefs, your morals fall short and that hollow rock turns into your Mirror. Do you matter anymore? Would anyone care if you simply disappeared? Could you find your way out of the darkness? Look Closer is one of my favourite quotes and so I'll use it as a guide to understanding the complex characters you're about to meet.

Imagine being fifteen years old with your first crush, wanting your first kiss. Now imagine constantly having nightmares where you die. If those nightmares came to life, would you survive?

Falling asleep in your own bed is great. Walking up in a strange new world is not. But what happens when you realise it is not a dream or a joke and rescue will not arrive? The story is complete and will be updated in regular intervals.

Everyone has nightmares. Hoping to eventually wake up, one has to face their deepest hidden fears for what feels like hours, in only the span of a few minutes. Luckily, nightmares are infrequent. Not for Ruth though. For some reason she has nightmares every time she sleeps. Luckily the pain is fleeting, and her memories disappear. But what happens when she falls into the realm where nightmares live and breathe? Could she ever forget such an experience?
