Foster kid, Raven, can not die. However, she can see the dead. She lives her life with scientists who treat her like the greatest discovery since the Atom. Constant routine checks and environmental experiments test her new found abilities, and one experiment caused her to leave the facility. Raven is forced to go to a high end high school for rich kids. This is supposed to test her abilities under certain levels of stress that most teens exhibit in school. However, she is faced with a challenge when her best friend and spirit inform her of experimentation on spirits turning them evil and soulless using them to power weapons. ⚠️ WARNING ⚠️ This book is undergoing extreme editing but is still legible. I write this on my phone so there may be typos. This may or may not be the first book in a series. I haven't decided yet.

"Just because we win the war doesn't mean we don't lose everything in the process." - Joey Magnom --------- Practically everyone dreams of having superpowers. Lift a building, breathe underwater, fly. But at such a cost? Morgan would very happily shove it back to wherever it came from. In a close future, certain children and teenagers suddenly begin to exhibit their own unique superpowers. In order to contain them, keep the secret, and abuse these young adults' power for their own advantage, the government hunted them down and opened camps to train and brainwash these 'supernaturals' in cruel ways. It didn't matter if the child was five or eighteen; they'd take them and give them the same horrible treatment. Morgan was hunted and taken. Rylie was not. Morgan Carter was put in the camps and wasn't able to come out the same way she came in. She became their pet telekinetic/assassin, ready to kill and torture without hesitation and knew how to. She forgot her old life, including her name. Rylie Garner paraded as Light Glider around his city-their own personal superhero-escaping being caught with the help of his friends while trying to find his little supernatural sister, who was taken. But then, their stories began to intertwine. --------- Completed/Being Rewritten
