He finds the smallest of things interesting. Which, of course, leads him straight to Lucy, the social outcast. One thing leads to another, and soon, Natsu is teaching this strange girl the world of magic. They become friends rather quickly, and her unexpected actions never ceases to calm his storm of a day. Natsu realizes his feelings for her, but isn't sure how to convey them. Will he manage to get through her thick-headed personality, or will he be forever considered "just a friend"? As the characters go through their own social problems, other problems start to arise. Magic manipulation, and an old alumni threaten them as Lucy attempts to recover from her past. If you asked someone at Fairytail High who Lucy Heartfelia was, they would have no idea. She is like a shadow, fitting in with the crowd. Lucy has never spoken to anyone or shown her face. Because she is bullied by Natsu Dragneel, the hottest, coolest, smartest guy in the school. He torments her to death. Taking her diary, and reading it in front of the cafeteria, posting flyers up all over the school of a terrible altered photo of her, and giving her mental and physical beat downs.
