Blissful pain. Apparently that's what deaths like. But getting over the blissful pain of someone's death is harder, more pain reaches out and tries to grab anything it can reach, an arm, a leg maybe even an unborn baby. Desperately trying to hang on to the piece of you the blissful pain has not yet conquered.

That what is what like for me, when Fred died. And the pain took the form of our child, the one I can love and protect because I didn't for Fred. My name is Emily and this is the story of love and pain, light and dark. The Story of how I met, fell in love with and watched Fred Weasley die.

Remus didn't even tell her that he was still alive until she was almost fifteen. She missed the boy, though she had only really known him for a year before James and Lily were gone. Emily wanted Harry taken in to her care once she was of age, but Dumbledore would not allow it. He believed Harry was safe with the Dursley family. So, Emily left to Romania with Charlie, but not for the same reason as Charlie. While Emily lived in Romania with Charlie, she did not follow the same career path. Charlie worked with dragons, and Emily decided to be a babysitter for wizards and witches. The money was great, which made her wonder why Dumbledore believed she was incompetent of raising Harry. She wanted him to have the best, but she'd never be able to see him. When she does finally meet him once again, not everything is going to be all sunshine and rainbows...

Taking a step closer to him, but he continues to step away from me. "End of the world! Lily, you were sorted in Slytherin! Slytherin! I-i don't even know you anymore." Ron yells. Not giving me another moment he goes to the painting whispering the Gryffindor common room password and walking in, slamming the painting shut. Fred and George look between each other before going up to the door, giving me an apologetic tap on the head and muttering something about killing Ron before following him back into the Gryffindor common room. My heart shattering as the painting shuts behind them, shutting me out of their life. A/N This is the rewritten story of My Choice, I started it back in like 2022, but never finished. after learning all about writing, I have come back to it. I'm very excited to give you this new story, with new plot and a new tone. WARNINGS: This is more age accurate and time accurate. It will be more mature and unlike the book and the movies which are kid friendly. This story will NOT be kid friendly.
