"hvem er Grayson" spurgte jeg nysgerrigt. "Ham der" Maggie pegede ned i den anden ende af kantinen, hvor en gruppe footballspillere lige var trådt ind. Forest gik en mørkhåret dreng med en meget muskuløs krop, og selv på afstand kunne jeg se, hvordan hans øjne spillede legesygt ud over menneskemængden. Jeg genkendte ham med det samme. Selvom der er gået 4 år siden vi sidst har set hinanden, ville jeg aldrig nogensinde glemme de øjne.

Emma Williams er en 16 årig pige, der, efter at have boet i Danmark i 4 år, bliver tvunget tilbage til London. 
På Woodside skal hun så tage sit sidste år i High School. 

Her får hun nogle nye venner, og genforenes med sin barndomsven Noah Grayson. Han har dog ændret sig en del siden de sidst så hinanden.

Noah Grayson er 17 år og senior på Woodside High School. I løbet af de sidste 4 år, har han opnået en del. Han er:
-  Blevet holdkaptajn for footballholdet
-  Har en rimelig god status i skolen
-  Er måske en lille bitte smule en del af skolens player slæng...

Det hele ændre sig dog, da Emma lige pludselig dukker op. Han har aldrig sagt det højt, men da de var små havde han et lille crush på hende, og det er muligvis stadig tilfældet.

Det hele bliver dog så meget mere kompliceret da Logan, en af Noahs bedste venner, lægger an på Emma...
