Phoenix and Kiara were best friends when they were younger. They spent all their time together, knew all each other's secrets, and Kiara was just what Phoenix needed.

She supported him when his stepfather moved in. She supported him when the relationship between his stepfather got worse.

But then one day she disappeared. Everyone knew but Phoenix that she was leaving for London. When he found out he was angry and heartbroken and didn't know why everyone else knew but him. He started blaming himself. Was there something wrong with him? Was it his fault? He hid behind his black hood and pretended like he didn't exist.

That all changed when one day a new girl arrived at school years later. She was pretty and popular, but she was also Kiara.

Kiara's mother was struggling for money, so when she got a job opportunity in London, Kiara was forced to move. All these years she has missed Phoenix, and when she sees him all she wants to do is go back to the way they were when they were kids. But Phoenix has changed. He's not the confident and bright kid he once was, and wants nothing to do with Kiara.
