17 year old Mandi Stone has been abused by her now ex-boyfriend, vincent, lost her brother/bestfriend, Lucas, in a car crash after picking her up at a party, and her dad taking his anger and grief out on her by mentally and physically abusing her, all in the last 6 months. Her parents drag her on a 6 week cruise around the Pacific Ocean, thinking that she is depressed. While playing the antique guitar Lucas left her, after his death, on the balcony of her own personal suite on the ship, she meets a boy name Louis Tomilinson. There is something about Louis that she feels safe around and trusts, even though she has a phobia of men. Is It the fact that Louis looks like her brother Lucas? She opens up to Louis and tells him things that shes told no one except Lucas. He gets her to trust guys just a little bit. Will she be ready for the emotions she feels when Louis introduces her to his friends and fellow band members of the world's most popular boyband One Direction? Especially to the black haired Bradford boy, Zayn, and the innocent bottomless pit, Niall.
