Dear You, Once, when I was younger, the world felt so much smaller. Everything important could fit in a single moment: the sound of laughter, the warmth of sunlight, the soft rustle of leaves in a quiet breeze. I didn't think about tomorrow, or the day after that. Life wasn't made of questions back then - it was made of feelings. But somewhere along the way, things began to change. The questions grew bigger. The world, which had once seemed so simple, became a puzzle I couldn't solve. I began to forget the little things - the way the atmosphere smells after rain, or the sound of my own heartbeat when I was truly at peace. Have you felt that too? That quiet loss, the kind you can't explain? If you're reading this, I guess you do. [...] This book isn't a solution. It's a mirror. And maybe, just maybe, you'll see yourself in it. It tries to make sense of the past and explores trauma head on in an unfiltered way that leaves no room for denial. It's a documentation of my entire life, moments both sun kissed and dark. A book written with the new understanding that expressing how you feel is absolutely vital. Most of my poems come from personal experience and some topics may be sensitive to some readers. Some themes included consist of toxic household environments, the loss of loved ones, abusive relationships, suicidal thoughts and actions, and struggling with mental illness.Terminé
Truly Misfortunate BXB
Alistair's being plagued by dreams about a certain creature. And someone who could be his Grandmother, but no, she died. He lives in a town called Misfortune, and the Town really lives up to it's name. He's not your typical guy who has issues, and then falls in love in someone who's gonna change his life. Although, he does HAVE issues, he learns to cope with them. But his life changes when the dreams make sense, when the dots connect and he figures out WHAT he is. Love and Mysteries await him. Afzal, a Vampire who's boring as fuck. But that's for the plot. He feeds with his bestfriends, and does nothing but lay on his bed, and ponder about his boring lifestyle. But, when he's forced to go to the CrossWorld University, he realizes that there are a lot of diverse supernatural attending that school. And one guy in particular interests him. A supernatural that's both rare and a bad omen. Afzal can't admit the fact that he finds this creature.. Interesting. Maybe this Town isn't so Misfortunate. (description made, 7th July, 2023.)Terminé

A Cut Not Deep Enough
So that was the deciding factor. It became my inspiration, my reason for resorting to such seclusion. I had always needed my own space for working, which is why even when I worked in the hospital I never allowed for a nurse or doctor or any other person to be in room, except me and the patient. I am unable to perform my work with prying eyes staring me down and questioning me, questioning my methods and maybe even questioning my humanity. Thus, when she stopped living here by my side, I took that as my cue to quit working in the hospital. ---- Dr. Roy Andrews, a highly credible neurosurgeon has a knack for solving cases of comatose. His methods, however, are questionable. And highly unorthodox. He enters the patient's minds. Despite that factor, he has never once messed up a case. He has never once lost somebody. However, when patient Kester Montgomery arrives under his care, the circumstances of his case baffle Dr. Andrews, leading to the possibility of a detrimental outcome. Winner The Crystal Awards 2016, Best Multimedia Story (3d Place). A spinster doctor rents her spare room to a brain-damaged patient who doesn't know he is a former undercover agent targeted for execution by a powerful criminal. ~o~ ~o~ ~o~ John Doe remembers nothing of his life before waking up in the hospital. He doesn't know he was a dangerous man, and he somehow has survived assassination by even more dangerous men. He doesn't even know how to speak English, or read, or count. Even after his body heals, he will need long-term supervision and care to re-learn how to live. Dr. Mitchell Oberon has been married to her surgical work for too long. So, she resists being attracted to a brain-damaged patient with the body of Adonis and the mind of a child. Agent Frank Stone, of Homeland Security, forces the doctor to take John Doe into her own home while he recovers. Stone, who knows John Doe's past history well, says it's not safe to send him back to the place he lived before he was "killed" by his enemies.
