Hiro and Zero-Two recently discover that their past is connected, and by the means of memory wiping Hiro was forced to forget his only true love, Zero-Two. Upon recent happenings the two came to realise that they knew eachother in the past.

Swearing an oath to leave this hell-ridden land, and live together in peace away from the plantations, away from the adults. Together, because that's all they need.
