~Ever since we first met, there had been people doing bad in the world. As we grew older, those people got worse and worse. They cause destruction, causing countries to go to war. Drafting people if needed. Creating super beings. Destroying. When war ends, you inform soldiers families that their loved one won't be returning. That they had died in a gruesome battle. You return home without your family. To an empty apartment in Brooklyn. You drink. You self destruct. You hit that point in your life when you don't want to go on anymore. Then people come to you. People you've never said a word to in your life. They show you fake sympathy. They try to tell you to let go. That you shouldn't be sad anymore. That just upsets you more. You yell. You scream. You tell them they don't know anything. A month flies by. Two. Three. Now it's a year later and you're missing part of your arm and have created a new organization. You're doing stuff you never dreamed you could do. You're the godmother of your best guy friend's son. You are on top of the world. Until you lose him and his wife. He leaves you one last wish. To look after his son. Make sure he doesn't do anything reckless, but you can't even do that.
