After moons and moons of turmoil, there is finally peace for ThunderClan. New leader Firestar and his mate Sandstorm have three beautiful daughters: Silverkit, Leafkit, and Squirrelkit. But what was supposed to be an adventure as kits turns out to be a terrible tragedy for ThunderClan which leads them to believe that Silverkit has died. However, unknown to ThunderClan, the daughter of Firestar lives on as Mosskit in RiverClan and grows into a well-trained warrior. She is reunited with her littermates for the first time during the Great Journey, but when the Clans arrive at the lake she cannot bear the thought of being separated from them again. Mossfire is forced to make a final choice between her birth-Clan of ThunderClan and her adopted home of RiverClan, and she is stuck between her newfound loyalty to the Clan that took her in and raised her as its own and being with her own family. But which Clan will she choose? And regardless of her decision, will she ever regain the trust of her Clanmates after her secret is revealed?
