Izuku Midoriya was four years old when he learned that he was quirkless. He was determined to become the first powerless hero, but at every turn he was shot down. Though he knew the truth, he knew why there were always heros around when he went outside, people were afraid of him and his power, and he couldn't blame them. He would be scared too if a child had the amount of power he had. He was awoken one night by the sound of his window opening and someone entering, before he could jolt up or scream a gun barrel was put to his head. Behind it he could see eyes, eyes of a hero, eyes of someone who didn't want to be there. Just before he was sure he was about to be killed, she put her barrel away and collapsed to the ground in tears. Inko Midoriya died due to undiagnosed cancer during the first year of training. All Might adopted Izuku since it would be the Bakugo's that would take him in.
