No, this wasn't supposed to happen, I should be the one rejecting this asshole

"Fine" I said. Almost thought I saw shock in his expression for a bit. "But the only way you are free of me is if I verbally accept your rejection, and that's not going to happen" 

"What do you mean? It's obvious you don't want this either" he said and he was right. 

I really don't want to be with him but I need his help.

"The only way I would accept your rejection is if you do me a favor and I promise to free you of our mate bond" I almost felt my heart break 'ALMOST'

"Ok, anything to get rid of this pestering feelings" he replied in an exhaustive tone, like he was trying to get rid of me. 

"I WANT THE LUNA TITLE ONLY...I will accept your rejection as my mate but not as your Luna. This pack is way too important to me to let you ruin that because you don't want to catch "FEELINGS"" I air quoted the last word in a childish manner. 

I mean what I said, I don't want to be his mate but I want to be the packs Luna. I have seen what having the wrong Luna does to a pack and I have a lot of family here to lose over this petty Alpha.
