"Hey, when are you going to mark me?"

"Never" he said while staring at his book.

"But we are mates! You have to mark me!

"I don't even know why the moon goddess paired me with you." He glared at me from behind his book. "All you do is beg and complain."

I looked at him, with sadness covering my eyes.

My wolf told me he didn't mean it, but I didn't believe her.

"Ok then Grayson. I'll be with Kyle."

"Why?"

"Because, even though I don't want you to be, you're still my mate. And you can't go around other males." I saw him glance at me before looking back at his book.

"But I'm not marked, so I don't have to stay away from other males."

"Ugh, come here." He put down his books and walked over to me.
