Peyton Di Maggio had it all, she was a neonatal surgeon. She was married to a Fire Lieutenant at Fire House 41 in Clover, Georgia. Together, her and Lukka had 4 children and 1 on the way. They lived in a gated community and the kids go to a private school nearby. They are the perfect couple, family oriented and very into the community and their children's lives.
Everything changed for Peyton in a blink of an eye. Lukka was called to a fire and was killed inside. Peyton now is alone and pregnant with her 4 children.
When CFD took a better look at the fire that killed Lukka, it looks like foul play was involved. Who killed the lieutenant? Why was he killed? Did Peyton have something to do with it?

a cold summer
It has been a stressful year for Rain who has struggled to keep up with the workload during her first year of marine biology at University.
