Peyton Di Maggio had it all, she was a neonatal surgeon. She was married to a Fire Lieutenant at Fire House 41 in Clover, Georgia. Together, her and Lukka had 4 children and 1 on the way. They lived in a gated community and the kids go to a private school nearby. They are the perfect couple, family oriented and very into the community and their children's lives.
Everything changed for Peyton in a blink of an eye. Lukka was called to a fire and was killed inside. Peyton now is alone and pregnant with her 4 children.
When CFD took a better look at the fire that killed Lukka, it looks like foul play was involved. Who killed the lieutenant? Why was he killed? Did Peyton have something to do with it?
When the wife begins to ask questions, however, her life and her childrens' lives become in danger.

But how could this happen to strong swimmers in a shallow loch with no currents? The investigation commences and it's clear the police are struggling to find answers. Radically they suggest calling in special advisors to assist the investigation - the Paranormal Investigation Team (PIT). Will they fare better than the local police force? This isn't the first unexplained death to occur in this spot, after all this is the same loch where three children were discovered floating dead in the Loch during a game of hide and seek at a birthday party. This unfortunately makes them register the case as unsolved. Rachel was always a mysterious figure in Aiden's life, even though he fell in love with her during their college days together. She always seemed to have this manipulative control over him, but you couldn't call it toxic. Aiden was always in his senses when he did something for her. They both really were pillar opposites, he believed in law and justice, while she believed that if a job was done for the right causes it could be excused. Keeping all of this aside, this is Rachel's incomplete, yet Aiden's complete story. He finds closure, in the process of telling the mystery of the unsolved case. He finds the strength to heal his broken self in the process, after all, without Rachel he felt blind, deaf and dumb. As if his world disappeared in a snap of fingers.
