Isabella is different from everyone else.
In the city that once was New York, Isabella lives a lonely life. Her parents died when she was eight years old in the biggest explosion to hit in a hundred years. No one except her knows how the explosion happened.
In this city, it's always raining. It's not so gloomy like you'd think though. Umbrellas became huge in fashion as did bright colors. Everyone is happy and no one questions the Wall.
The wall has been there for longer than anyone can remember, it encircles the city, keeping them all blocked in. But no one really pays it any attention. Except Isabella, she wants to get out. She wants to see the stars.
