It's been nearly a year since they went on their first date, but he knew from the moment they shared their first conversation that she was his one. Distracted by the plans he's making, Avi becomes increasingly less aware of Lizzie's feelings, suddenly he's missing dates and disappearing, forgetting to keep the near constant contact they happily share alive.

Lizzie is trying to be patient with him and to understand. She wants to help him, the love of her life with whatever it is that he is struggling through. Quite frankly, she tired of being ignored and receiving noncommittal responses from the man that she'd grown to know and instantly loved, but he's being squirrely, downright flaky. When will it stop? His best friend even seems to be in on it. What in the world has gotten into her precious Avriel and how can she fix it?

Follow Avi and Lizzie on one more adventure as their first anniversary approaches. Will he finally tell her what's weighing on his mind? Will she be ready to hear what he has to say?

20 parts Ongoing Mature

POV MAYA: Maya received a notification on the Airbnb app for a booking starting the next day. It was for just one guest. *** She wondered about Carina. Why would a girl as beautiful as her be spending an entire month out here alone? It shouldn't be any of her business. So she wouldn't ask. *** POV CARINA: Carina thought back to Maya Bishop. What a nice woman. She seemed nervous for most of their interaction. She had the softest blue eyes. It's like her mind showed on her face, every moment, her expression changed when she was embarrassed, confused, shy and proud. Maybe she could cook a meal for Maya, for sharing her home with her - this mess of a person, and for opening her doors, her world to Carina. (OR) Lumberjill Maya hosts Writer Carina as her Airbnb guest, but quickly begins to grow feelings towards her and finds that the feelings are mutual. How long would their arrangement last given that Carina is in town for just a month? And after her vacation is over, what happens to them? Maya's hopes for something more might be an unguarded step into the woods. Will they be out of the woods in time to salvage what they started? Only time will tell. And me. I will tell you.
