*Updated all chapters and changed the storyline a bit on 26-02-24 so if you're confused I do recommend rereading the previous chapters* Amdiriel was only four when her single mother was killed. For years she wanders around with the Dunedain rangers, and encounters Lady Galadriel, who teaches her how to use her powers. One day Galadriel comes to her with a rather unusual assignment, she needs to protect Thorin Oakenshield's company at all costs. That's how she ends up in The Battle of the Five Armies. Warrior's Heart
When exiled Elf Ariel Greenleaf is found unconscious just beyond the borders of Mirkwood by the Company, they are ready to dispatch her without hesitation. It isn't until their leader, Thorin Oakenshield convinces them that she could be a powerful bargaining chip in their quest to reclaim Ereborn. For Ariel, being the dwarves' prisoner is only slightly better than succumbing to the elements beyond her home. But, that doesn't mean she is grateful to them or even willing to help. After all, dwarves and elves are enemies and dwarves cannot possibly be trusted. Especially Thorin Oakenshield. But fate has a way of turning enemies into something far more complicated. And for Ariel and Thorin, neither is prepared for the turn fate has in store for them. **note, I'm rather new to the world of Tolkien, so please be patient as I especially have a hard time keeping the dwarves all straight (except for Thorin, of courese :). ) This story takes place prior to the events of The HobbitComplete
The Quest (The Hobbit)
✨Book 1✨ "We move to reclaim Erebor." Mithrandir stated. Halidien stilled, looking at the back of Mithrandir. Crossing her arms over her chest, "I will not be helping the dwarves. They can go on their own." "They will need your guidance and your ability to fight." Mithrandir said, stopping and turning to her. Noting the sour look across her face and the frown playing at her lips. "No, Mithrandir. There is a dragon in that mountain and unless you have an army, none will survive. I will not die fighting side by side with dwarves." Halidien growled, she would not run from a fight but walking to her death was not something she would do either. And what did she owe to the dwarves, to be running into a mountain with a dragon? "I wish you would have agreed. Halidien, you will go." Mithrandir insisted. "And why would I do that? The dwarves can handle their own problems." "You owe me, and once this quest is over that oath will be fulfilled." He explained, causing Halidien to pale. Hundreds of years ago, Mithrandir had saved her life and she had made an oath to him to help whenever he may need. But the idea of him forcing her to fulfill the oath for this, seemed ridiculous to her. A/N I do not own any character other than Halidien and maybe more if I choose to add more. But probably just Halidien. I'm newer to the fandom so please let me know if I got any facts wrong. I hope you enjoy the story! ✨SET DURING THE HOBBIT MOVIES✨Complete
