Throughout all of her life, Talya Williams was at the top of the social pyramid and thought that nothing could ever bring her down. At least, not until a terrible suicide attempt by one of Talya's classmates shook up her city and left Talya and her twin brother, Finn, expelled.
Being the children of wealthy lawyers, arrangements were made and strings were pulled, giving the twins a miraculous second chance at a different private school, filled with unfamiliar faces and new chances.
Finn’s pretty upset by this, but for Talya, a new school means a fresh opportunity to change herself into someone entirely different. She’s ashamed of who she used to be and she'll do anything to erase her mistakes. Now, her number one goal is to not attract any attention from the wrong crowd or become involved with the popular kids.
