True Essence

The soul. The essence of everyone and everything. We hear stories,and tales, from the time we are children of soulmates, and true love. That there are people that are destined to be together no matter what. That the universe would make their lives cross paths, and they would fall helplessly in love. What if it were true? That beings were connected at the soul. Could you believe that people could have such a connection? One so deep as to surpass any other. One that is formed before birth,before conception,one the universe whomever that may be decided on millennials ago. Could you believe that you and your so called so soulmate came from the same soul that split into the two, and now you are wondering the world looking for your other half. The only person that can truly make you happy and content, not necessarily in a romantic way, but happy nonetheless. Could you believe it?
Now if i told you every 5000 years the magic that overtime we diminished and weakened with our hatred and violence returns in the form of four little babies, all girls, all connected in a way no one will ever understand, all created from the same powerful soul. How and why is unknown. We do not deserve they but still they return and bring back the balance of love and light and magic to our world, but this cycle its different. The world is much darker than ever before, it is falling apart at the seems. People are killing each other over money and power. No one believes in the magic anymore. It and the story if the "soul sisters," as they have been nicknamed in the last few hundred years, are just tales told as bedtime stories.
