[IN PROCESS OF REWRITING AND EDITING]

"To forgive does not mean to forget."

When Caiden Lewis first looked Alycia Collins in the eyes, he wasn't prepared to what he would find there, nor to how it would affect him.

And then, in the flick of the light, all of it was gone, replaced with a smile anyone would say is completely sincere. Even Caiden.

And at least he should know if it's a fake smile or a real one.

But he knew it wasn't, for one cannot smile sincerely just a moment after they had that look in their eyes.

The look of total and complete despair.

So Caiden decided he was gonna figure it out. Figure her out. How she does it, why she does it.

He was going to see what secrets lie in the shadow of her smile.
