Ho voluto provare ad immaginare i pensieri di Rufy dopo qualche anno e dopo una ipotetica conclusione della saga in corso di Whole Cake Island, ma non ci sono spoiler tranquilli!
Non mi sono soffermata sul dolore di Rufy, o meglio non solo, ma soprattutto sul suo desiderio di rivedere Ace.
Come noterete il testo della fic non è legatissimo al testo della canzone ma ne prende il titolo e tutta l'ispirazione e per questo ho inserito il testo e vi consiglio di metterla in sottofondo mentre leggete la storia.

While his mother and father were busy nursing the injured and grandmother brewed the medicinal soup, he sneaked out. A pining god recites how he fell in love with a mortal.
