Piper doesn't want to deal with her past, the past that punches her in the gut and makes her want to curl into a ball. But when people become lifeless, man- eating monsters it's up to her to decide whether to grow up or die in her past. As she journeys through a new torn world she must join a group of old friends and deal with the skeletons in everyone's closet. From slicing off zombie heads to coming out of the closet, Piper and these teens reconnect and journey through a hostile world with no sanctuary to be found and nothing in their paths but the unknown.
