Do you believe in alternative realities?
Let's say that you do.
If they exist, then there must be trillions of different worlds and possibilities. And with so many possible universes, then, wouldn't it be safe to assume they replicate our stories?
Think about it. With endless possibilities, the odds of there being at least one world for everything we've made isn't far fetched.
Worlds like the one of Terminator, World of Warcraft, Destiny or even Dark Souls could exist.
Now imagine this. Let's say you have no family. Very few friends. You think nobody would miss you, if you disappeared.
One day, you wake up in another world, but not just any world, one you know all about, from your favorite game or series. You appear shortly before one of the most important moments happen, and you know all that's to come in the future.
What would you do? Would you try to come back home? Live peacefully there? or would you try to change things and make that world better?
*I do not own Dark Souls, it belongs to From Software. All I own is my OCs.*
You don't know how or why, but you've been isekai'd into the world of Jujutsu Kaisen. Although your first instinct is to stay far away from the plot, you've been blessed with an abnormal amount of cursed energy, and for better or worse, you find yourself sucked into the storyline. You decide that you may as well use your newfound powers for the greater good, and if you're lucky, you might succeed in rewriting some of the characters' fates. But it turns out that your presence in this world is even bigger deal than you first thought, and soon, everyone wants to make you theirs.
