The Anomalous Peregrination

It has been two years since the bombs were set off, flying over ocean and land until they reached their destination; us and them.
Axel and his parents were one of the few Americans who survived the attack. Now a few years later, where food is scarce and the landscape is sparse and barren, Axel and his family embark on a journey from Grants, New Mexico to Northern Wyoming where a supposed safe haven lies. But, after a horrid situation involving a group of bandits who call themselves "The Indigos", Axel finds himself alone and injured, left at the mercy of the elements, animals and any human that stumbles upon him.
