A class at Marinokina High School is chosen to be 22 of 1500 people to own the new V-Gear and to try the game Speak With Swords which is embedded into the V-Gear. This specific class was chosen because every student has an extreme gift (ie. Cooking, Gaming, Strategizing) and the game designers want to be able to expand every section of the game to nearly human life. The game takes control of itself, trapping the 1500 players inside and issuing a warning that if V-Gear is removed, the client will be terminated from both worlds. In the not so far future, a special type of computer is invented. However, this computer isn't like others. It doesn't require a monitor, no mouse, no tower to operate. The only thing this computer needs, is your brain. This computer is a microchip called the Atomiton, a device that acts as a personal computer inside your head, allowing you to work on projects, search the internet, monitor your heart rate, and even play video games. These games belong to the genre of games dubbed VR (Virtual Reality). In the year 2060, a college emerges in the north eastern region of Iceland. This is the Global Educational Online Virtual Reality University (GEOVRU for short). It is easily the most expensive college in the world, costing $73, 456 for tuition alone, not counting for even room and board. Ten years later, the champion Caedes returns for a second year at this esteemed campus with the fame of defeating the Forman Online Final Boss and the glory of winning the championship of the same game in his resume, none of these can seem to pick him up after the loss of his lover Jalis, who has sacrificed herself for him. But with much awaiting him in year two... only time will tell what will become of him.

Can Mato gain mastery of his soul in time or will he sink into the abyss as his AI counterpart takes over his soul? To accomplish this task he enlists the help of Kayu, a seemingly carefree dark elf(a third personality in form of his in game avatar) to go ahead and exploit the limits of the human soul. "Jeez! Having little to no Combat Skills, and relying on real-world Chemistry Knowledge (a Lost art of sorts,) to make anything more than the most basic potions, they are very rarely seen past the first or second level, because most people change their class after seeing its uselessness. Still, this class allows Sam to spread her literal and proverbial wings as a Chemist and Inventor in a world where such a skill set is actually very valuable! Of course, with the rarity and value of their skills comes a plethora of problems, and most don't last very long at all, but Sam is determined, damn it!
