A young boy stumbles upon a bandits tribe, all bruised and bleeding. Their leader, Raven, sees the boy and adopts him into their tribe, as well as her son. He is one of their best fighters, rivaling Raven's abilities, but he has one issue. He does not remembers his past before he encountered the tribe. He was sent off to beacon to learn more about how to protect the tribe, but will that be all that he learns, or will he learn something much more important to him?

This however leaves him alone with only verbal support by his team and friends, and he is forced to live outside the dorms for a bit. For a few months Jaune makes himself a home in the Forest of Beacon and due to some political nonsense he has to send his weapon back home, he has to use spare weapons from the armory at the school and learn how to use them. In no time he gets better and through training he catches up to his friends, but thats not all fate has in store for him as he would become more than just a man, he would become the 'Dark Knight' of Remnant.
