Sable is a young horse who was raised by humans. Claire, the little girl who takes care of him, is his entire world. He can't imagine a life without her by his side! But after a terrifying storm, Sable finds himself lost. After trying and trying to find his way back home, he stumbles across a herd of wild horses. Many of these horses are kind to him, and Sable finds himself especially fond of the beautiful mare Marista. This is a story some friends and I made together using Google Drive. To explain some things, this is written in a more script like form, or what you would see when online chatting/Role-playing. Sadly I can't have all the cool fonts and colors we used. However it doesn't take anything away in terms of the story. Each of us picked a bird and chose a name. One person started the idea of the story and the rest continued and added on as it went. And thus a great tale was born.Concluida

In JOS I set the rogue and con-artist Harric against a foil of warriors in a land threatened by magic and civil war. Whenever possible I turn familiar tropes on their heads: instead of a handsome young Lancelot, I cast a broken-down ex-champion addicted to pain-killing herbs; instead of a dashing Squire Brian, the old knight reluctantly takes an ambitious young woman as squire. Similarly, I re-imagine the standard medieval milieu by infusing aspects of two of my favorite historical periods, Elizabethan England, and The American Frontier. Both eras boast a kind of nationalistic arrogance that borders on hubris, and a magnificent spirit of resourcefulness and re-invention that is fun to play with.
