Iris has been around long enough to know where the Avengers go, trouble usually isn't far behind. And though she's got powers of her own, Iris has avoided the superhero life. It's not something she wants; the peaceful life as a writer in New York was plenty thank you very much. 

But when a direct attack on New York unveils Iris as a superhuman, she's dragged into the world she worked so hard to avoid. Hauled along on a donut spaceship with a billionaire-playboy-philanthropist, a teenage spider-boy, and a so-called 'master of the mystic arts,' Iris has to face the greatest threat the universe has ever seen. 

As if that wasn't enough, a long-lost face resurfaces after two years, and Iris has to patch the seams between her and Stephen in order to move on and save the universe (at least she can cross that one off her bucket list now.)

Book 2 of the Golden Sunshine series. "Stay down." I instructed Nat as I stood up just to see the soldier throw Steve over a car. "I mean it." I repeated as I ran towards the soldier. I kicked the soldier behind his leg, making him stumble before I adapted the classic black widow move, pinning him between my thighs and hitting his head. I kept hitting as he stood up, slamming me down on a vehicle, his cold metal arm putting pressure on my neck. I tightened my thighs around him as I started to splutter for air, my hand running up his arm. My fingers found an open spot on the ridge of his arm and I sent a little zap of energy through it and he flinched, taking his hand off. I kicked him in the head and he stumbled away. He shook his head before charging again but Steve attacked him from behind, giving me time to catch my breath. They both exchanged punches, until Steve flipped him over, causing his mask to fall off. He's back on his feet in a few seconds, pausing and obviously pissed before turning to us causing us to falter. "Bucky...?" Peter tried to comfort her and he was the only one who Caitlynn thought she could trust. When Peter disappeared, her world collapsed. Tony tried to comfort her even though he was pretty upset on his own. Caitlynn need to trust the others to save the guy who saved her life. She was saved but not save yet. Just like the others, no one was save until Thanos would be defeated. How will things go for Caitlynn and the others? Will she be able to fix things and to tell Peter what she feels for him? ~ And what will happen after Thanos is defeated? Will everyone have a nice tour in Europe or does that place have other suprises in store for our heroes?
