In the city of Krimena things aren't looking good. First Laura's sister mysteriously disappears, then a doctor arrives on her doorstep with her sister's scarf, claiming she has been framed for a crime she did not commit. Being her first case without her sister Laura enlists the help of two friends. Niel and Evan, who are lead detectives for the Krimena police department and Laura's best friends.
On the other side of the city Brinley fights against the claim that she was the one who actually committed the crime while also dealing with ongoing issues with a rival gang.
