Prologue~ Imagine a world similar to ours yet very, very different. A world where what we see to be goofy or silly means so much more and has the capability to change the fate of every individual starting at a high school level. Where a simple wedgie can set THE VICTIM back a grade or even expelled. For example, in our public high schools, students are categorized socially by several different profiles, these being nerd, jock, primp etc... But in our world, these profiles can be grown out of after graduation, but not in this world. In this world, students have their futures dictated by how well they overcome the power of others. In our world, we would call this bullying, but in this world, they call it progress. Through a process known as filtering, these "new and improved" schools promote bullying, teaching them that success only comes from the strongest.
This new story series I will be working on introduces the character Emilia, a high school student in a dystopian world where bad behavior is not only promoted but required. This series is the story of her experience in the school and how she reacts to having a target on her back. This story mainly focuses on wedgies and possible other forms of humiliating "punishments."
I flipped on the maturity switch just in case...
Ella is falling apart trying to live a "perfect" high school life. Then she meets Ren, who can see past her scars. Suddenly perfection isn't her only option.
