A cure to what's broken...

Lucy Waters was never the same again once her family fell apart. Being eight years old, she had everything she had ever loved ripped away from her – the kindness of a mother, the love of a father and the protection from a brother. She was broken.
Instead she became alone, Invisible; the ‘loser’ who lurked in the shadows 24/7 hiding the fact that her father was the richest man in town, the fact that her brother was once the most admired boy at Bellemont high -because quite frankly- she was never as good as them at making it seem as if it was no big deal.

17 years later she is still the same. Except she thinks that she’s managed to fix herself. She’s happier, funnier and more sarcastic than ever, self content without the company of friends or the love of a family. Lucy Waters truly believes that her life is once again fine.
However, after a catering disaster where she manages to piss of one of the richest men in town’s son, she knows she’s dead. Hunter storm has a reputation, and he definitely has it in for her. What she doesn’t realise though, is the fact that Hunter Storm might not actually as bad as she imagined because Hunter actually manages to give her more happiness by making her work for him that she had ever had in the past years of her life. Turns out, Hunter may not actually be the cold-hearted bastard he makes out to be… and maybe she’s not imagining it-maybe he does understands her better than he lets on…how though? And why?
