Important points for ramadan
The purpose of fasting:
Fasting provides an exacting exercise in self-discipline.It strengthens and deepens our faith. It honours the sending down of the Qu'ran, which took place in the month of Ramadan. It makes the faster realize how it feels like to be hungry and thirsty. It makes him appreciate the needs of the poor. Fasting develops self control.It helps us to overcome greed, selfishness,anger and laziness. It helps us to control passions and desires. As the Qu'ran points out,fasting has been widely practised at all time of mans history. Its main aim is spiritual purification.
The true fasting:
To go hungry and thirsty while ignoring the spirit of fasting carries no value in the sight of Allah's Messenger(S.A.W) has said,(If one does not give up lying and acting by it,Allah does not require hime to give up eating and drinking.) (Bukhari)
(Many are the people who fast but gain nothing their fast except hunger and thirst) (Darimi)
(Fasting is a shield,so when one of you is fasting he should not use foul talk. If someone abuses him or insults him, let him say:(I am fasting, I am fasting,) (Bukhari)When we observe the fast, it is essential that we should keep ours eyes,ears,tongue,mind,hands and feet free from sins. We must guard our tongue and observe silence. We should occupy it with remembrance of Allah and with the recitation of the Qu'ran. Backbiting and lying lower the quality of the fast.

Assalamu alaikum, As we welcome the blessed month of Ramadan, we should remind ourselves of the importance of dua during this holy month. Allah ﷻ says in the Quran: "And when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me - indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided." (Quran 2:186) This verse is a beautiful reminder that Allah ﷻ is always close to us, and He hears our prayers and supplications. Ramadan is a month of increased blessings and rewards, and it is the perfect time to increase our dua and ask for forgiveness, guidance, and blessings from Allah ﷻ. As I come into the corridor leading to the swimming pool with his favorite fresh orange juice, I am stunned by the sight in front of me. Stun is perhaps a small word. My prayers, my fascination, and my mind has always been filled with him. No doubt, I was lucky enough to behold this scene. My blood gets frozen in my veins as it can't even bring a blush to my cheeks. I am in an enchantment. He just performs a butterfly stroke and the way his beautiful and muscular back contrasts with the blue water, makes my jaw drop. He finally gets done with his daily swimming time and comes out of the water. His wet hair is stuck to his scalp and forehead. The water is dribbling through his hair, eyelids, and attractive beard. My breath gets stuck in my throat when he sweeps his hair away by his veiny hands. Allah, this is too much. When he stands up, his bare, sturdy, and muscular chest was all I can see. He grabs the towel and dries his body with it. When he reaches near me, I mum. He is just in his swimming shorts, looking so handsome. He is in his full glory and that is my weak point. "Earth to, Glasses." He snaps his fingers in front of her face. "I know I am a sight to behold but your eyes might get tired like this." The blood finally starts moving again. A flush soon creeps on my cheeks as he takes the glass of juice from me which causes his fingers to brush against my hand. I am doomed. That is for sure. It shows you the most beautiful things at the worst possible time and with the worst possible scenarios. "Your wife is going to be the unluckiest, I swear. God bless her already. She was looking for words to describe him but had settled for 'jerk' in the end. My grandmother used to give me a spoon of honey every morning before I collect myself for school. I wondered why had she incited on doing this? And I asked her one day when I ditched myself from tiring school day. She replied it has many benefits according to The words of Allah. She recited from the Qur'an : { And your Lord inspired to the bee, "Take for yourself among the mountains, houses, and among the trees and [in] that which they construct. (28) Then eat from all the fruits and follow the ways of your Lord laid down [for you]." There emerges from their bellies a drink, varying in colors, in which there is healing for people. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who give thought. (29 } [ Qur'an Surah An-Nahl] Then she said in touched tone "It's one of the Miracles that has been mentioned. Make sure to have one spoon everyday even when I pass away. Words of Allah always has beneficial reflection on us when we do it. Almighty knows what would benefit us because he's the one who created us from nothing to creatures." I didn't get the honey Miracle, but I kept on practising her will because I know she knows better. As I think she never heard the scientific facts of honey, but she believed of it when she witnessed its benefits. Thus, years later I got it when I read a scientific article speaks for my religion's book that exits since 609 CE has revealed the benefits of honey before scientists even discover its components. The article hit my heart when it said it wasn't the honey only. The embryo formation from A-z, Iron sent down from space, pulsating stars, sea not mingling with one another in the Gulf of Alaska..etc. So I found there were tears fell unexpectedly. - Description extracted from one of my upcoming Novels. ;)Complete
