Weekly Underverse
Hello! In honor of Underverse 0.8 part 1 coming out and Jakei's year and a half hiatus, I am going to (try to) do this thing I will be calling "Weekly Underverse" where I update weekly with some sort of Underverse related content. It's not going to be anything big. Some weeks it will be a 3,000 word Cross fic, maybe a digital drawing I worked on for 5 hours. Other weeks might be as small as a snippet of a poem that was inspired by an Underverse thing, or a little doodle I did in my notes packet. It may even be recycled content I have posted outside of this project. But whatever it is, I will try to update it weekly until the hiatus is over. Weekly Underverse starts today, November 20, 2024. Updates will (try to) be every Wednesday. Underverse belongs to: Jael Peñaloza Little note: I am nowhere near an Underverse expert, so most things might be fanon, most things might be Cross focused, but maybe I'll do some learning and write with the other characters. Undertale; Despair AU 《REWRITE》
What if there was an anomaly in the Underground? No, not Frisk. Not Chara either. Someone else entirely. How could a few measly children stand to this supposedly immortal foe and save the Underground from destruction? Is it even possible to do so? Only one way to tell... ~o0o~ Disclaimers before you start! •There is NO fanon ships. That means no Soriel, Papyton, etc. The only ships are Torgore (in the past) and Alphyne. •This is NOT an x reader. I dislike those types of stories. The reader will have no part in this, and they will not be shipped with anyone. •This exists outside of canon to an extreme. For example, Frisk is the second human and not the eighth. •There will be OCs, but only for a few humans and they still technically exist in normal Undertale. •There is a sequel. I'm planning on rewriting it after this one, as it is much more random and definitely needs it. Clanky, plot holes/retconning, etc. It's more of an OC thing, to explore them and their issues, than an Undertale thing, but it has its similarities. •There will be some explicitives. It won't be unnecessary or excessive, only when it fits the situation and character. I will not be using any slurs, as that's just plain disrespectful, even if some of them apply to me. "The Time Before" by ANinnyMouse42 is the backstory for Sans in this AU with some adjustments (mainly since that was very close to my original idea before I read it and I don't want people to think I copied their masterpiece or smth, if you haven't read it please do so, it's really good). (UnderTale rightfully belongs to the amazing Toby Fox, I am not creative enough to make that masterpiece. There is a person named symphysins who drew some work of Yandere UT! Papyrus for Sans, and I really liked the idea of a creepy UT! Papyrus and decided to write a short story on it. Also, Frisk can't reset, she never had that ability. The cover is my own art.) Wilting || UnderStretch!
Emotions shouldn't be this hard. They should be clear and understandable. But why wasn't that the case? Why can't I seem to get my thoughts under control? All these thoughts and many more flooded my brain. Causing the beginning of a migraine to pulse through the back of my neck. Spreading to my temples like a snake coiling around to crush my skull. Or was that too dramatic? I could never truly tell anymore considering my current predicament with the hot headed skeleton in front of me. "This is going to be fun isn't it...." The book contains violence due to mafia themes. Though not entirely present for majority of the book. Fluff will be included and sexual jokes as they play a big part in one particular characters development. Info: The phrase "kind of a Stretch" which is often used when someone is describing something that is unlikely, or really out of the ordinary; Quite difficult to picture logically speaking in a sense. For example, "I'm not too fond of taxes either, but it's a bit of a stretch to claim they are the cause of all our problems." or "It's a bit of a stretch to call her a teacher." But it can also be used in the way of being too much effort to achieve something. Such as in conversation when someone is "stretching" the information that they do know in order to reach the conclusion they are looking for. No matter how logical or illogical the path the truth takes to get there. Similarly to that of this AU types "laws".
