A DEH ConnorxEvan story. Takes place in high school except they are juniors and actually friends. Could end up being pretty long, not sure. Connor is into musicals and singing, Evan likes drawing. 【Completed】 This is a fanfiction of Evan and Connor from Dear Evan Hansen. Treebros, correct? Connor Murphy starts to hang out with Evan Hansen. He was mostly intrigued by his existence. How he never managed to notice someone so nice and yet so broken before piqued his interest. He wanted to be friends with him. Maybe more? I want to thank Eli (@sleepy_crayon on insta) for giving me permission to use their art as my cover. Please check them out, their art is amazing! Also, I am not American, but I'm using some elements, such as mimicking the school system. So, as I'm not familiar with it, please correct me along the way.

(Stop looking at me like that, Connor, it was sarcasm!) Evan was nervous. Extremely nervous. He looked around the school lockers. Who was that boy with shoulder-length way brown hair, a black jacket and jeans? He saw him somewhere. He knew he did. Connor hated school. Absolutely hated it. School was hell. But, something is different about this year. It has something to do with that cute-no not cute-boy with blond short, a light blue polo shirt and khakis. His school was extremely transphobic, homophobic, you name it. But there are those few accepting people who may care. Jared knew he was kind of a weirdo. Okay a huge weirdo. He really just wanted some real friends. Is that too much to ask? His only real friend didn't even think he actually cared. Connor just wanted the pain to stop. That's all. He could numb it all he wanted but it never went away. He hated his parents. His sister was barely tolerable. But he just wanted to die. Evan and Jared have been friends for a while now. But they are just "family friends" although they both want more. They meet Connor and feelings erupt from the three. Connor and Jared support Evan in his troubles. Evan and Jared help Connor to better his mental state. And Evan and Connor give Jared much needed love. Everything goes smoothly until Evan starts getting sick. Really sick. The stress that his anxiety put on him may have been too much. No one knew what caused it, but just like words, his heart was failing. Will Evan be okay? Will this affect their relationship? Jared and Connor worry too much for their own good but they can't help it. Who can?

Alright I know everyone loves the "If Connor Murphy never died" storyline but this is my take on it and I'm honestly I'm love with it. TRIGGER WARNING: Suicide Attempt, Self-Harm, Anxiety, Panic Attack, Bipolar Disorder, etc. Connor Murphy was always scared of himself, so to make up for it he tried to make everyone else too. Evan Hansen was always nervous, and wouldn't stop freaking out over the smallest things. When these two characters lives collide, literally, how will their company change the other? Can each character save themselves and the other? Note: This is an AU, in the musical version Connor is not good friends with Evan while in this version he is (due to the events that transpired in this fanfiction), so while I ship treebros in the AU context this is not the original musical, you can make your own opinion after watching the original. Note 2: There will be cussing, I don't personally enjoy cussing (nor do I do it IRL) so I'll try to keep it at a minimum for those that are uncomfortable with it [DISCONTINUED]
