If it ain't meant to be

This story is based on a student in her 2nd year of high school and travels all the way through her senior year. She is in JROTC and is getting ready to go to Basic Training for the United States Army. She has been preparing for this all her life, she is ready to leave home and get away from her family who has pushed her away because of her "bad choices" concerning her sexuality. When she finds love in her newly found best friend Brooke who is terrified of abandonment, will she move towards her dream of being in the Army, or will she find a whole new way to live life just for Brooke?
