Seventeen year old Jackson Giordano finds himself moving from his comfortable home and atmosphere of South Carolina to a new home full of promises and disappointment in Colorado. Despite hating the move, He decides to not make a fuss of it for his parents but no longer has to fake his true feelings after he starts his first day in a new school. The late enrollment disadvantage that caused him to be placed in Theatre turns out to be the Greatest Disadvantage he has ever endeared when he meets a Strawberry milk-loving Sixteen year old named Nyx Carrington.
