Cheesey and Mac's an 11-year-old, Cute's a twelve-year-old, but they are waayy smarter than everyone else. They can mess with the principal anytime, but sure they get detention and get threatened to be suspended or expelled, but they will get away as long as they suggest community service. They do community service everyday, but sometimes they screw around and have fun, since they know that your childhood's too short, so you better have fun. In their means, 'pissing everyone off' is 'fun'.

There has only been 7 smiling critters in the neighborhood: DogDay the self imposed leader. Bubba Bubbaphant the genius. Kicken Chicken the Daredevil. Hoppy Hopscotch the second Daredevil. CraftyCorn the artist. PickyPiggy the chef. Bobby Bearhug the therapist. There has always been 3 boys and 4 girls. They always easily outvote the boys whenever they want to do something different. One day a construction crew appears in the neighborhood and builds a new house that resembles a scratching post for a cat. Then a moving truck comes and puts boxes in the home. It's been 3 weeks and no sign of the new addition to the neighborhood. Everyone is getting impatient especially DogDay. [ABANDONED} About 50 years ago, society began accepting regression. More research was done, and tests were then created and perfected to identify regressors and possible caregivers, along with matching them up and creating places spesifically for them. Daycares, playgrounds, hospital units. Everything was safe and accepting, from a legal standpoint at least. Jake was a regular college student. He played soccer, he went to his classes, he partied every other weekend, and he shared his dorm with his best friend, Mason. They both took the test at once, knowing what they'd likely be, but.. they weren't correct. Or even close. Now Jake's stuck with 3 caregivers, struggling to accept that he's a regressor, and having to adjust to his entire life changing in front of him without him having much of a say in it. At least he can still go into engineering like he wanted, right? Or is that being taken away from him too?

What happens after the Snow Queen is defeated? OR You ever see those cheesy TV shows where someone manages to screw up the simplest task so extraordinarily that part of you laughs and the other part cringes? Where the young comedic relief is trying to make a bowl of cereal but everything spills onto the kitchen table, for instance. Or that bit in the first episode of Brooklyn 99 where Boyle drops his muffin on the floor and simultaneously steps on it and hits his head on the counter whilst trying to pick it up. Got that image in your brain? Yeah, that's pretty much what's happening here. (Except none of this is funny and Andy Samberg isn't anywhere nearby to save me and I really, really want to go home right about now.)

This Can't Be Real (A Superhero Story)
Book 1 of 3 in the Barron Series This book was re-edited roughly 4 times, each time in an effort to make the book less 'cringe'. The story is based on a game we used to play in my elementary school we named 'The Power of Cheese' between me and over 12 kids that we played every day at recess for (at least) 3 consecutive years. It was a roleplaying game where everyone had superpowers and controllable dimensions. In this new story, the characters are renamed (confidentiality) but the powers are the exact same. The plot was changed, but I kept it as close to the original without it sounding like it came from the minds of a gaggle of 10-year-olds. Characters were cut, the dialogue was refurbished, the jokes are more modern but still not as funny, and will probably be rewritten again.
