James O'Conner is like your normal 17 year old, a gay one. He has a pretty normal life, good grades, a mom, good friends, and a normal crush and likes to fan girl over him just like any other girl who crushes on the one and only new kid, Jasper. Until the accident that changes his life. After leaving a party with him and Jerald, a drunk driver hit their car. After the accident, he notices changes. Some of them he would rather turn away from, but one of them being Jasper.

Jasper Stalinski is just the ordinary 17 year old jock. Gets all the girls, top on his soccer team, and has flawless hair and body. He was all the glory in his school... that is when he has to move due to his dad's work. He moves to a small town in Oregon, far from where he lived. He plans on leaving his last year in school with a POW. He plans on topping everyone in his new school. Once he arrives he signs up for the soccer team and earns everybody's attention like he wanted too. But when he catches a cute scrawny kid watching him in the background, he wonders if fame in the school is ALL he wants.
