A kiss for Ree
"You got hotter?. How long have I been away?" Jax drapped an arm over my shoulder. I smiled, but my gaze met with Ludwig's again, his eyes narrowed in a possessive way I knew too well. Well if he's dancing with another girl, then I'm going to dance with Jax. Ludwig wasn't the only one watching. I could feel the quiet hum of people's gazes glued to me. I ignored them all. The only person I couldn't ignore was Jax. My Jax. "Let's dance." I nodded in agreement. Jax's musky cologne filled my nose as we started to dance. He warped his arms around me, hugging me close in a way that felt like home. One moment, Jax's warmth was warped around me like a warm blanket and the next-someone violently yanked us apart. My body jolted as I was pulled back, and before I could react, I felt a strong hand on my wrist, dragging me away from Jax. What the hell?. Of course it was Ludwig!. *** She had plans. Life had chaos. Her final year in high school was supposed to be simple: graduate, hang out with her best friends, maybe finally sort out her tangled crushes on Alameen and Jax. But that dream shattered the moment her father returned with a new wife and a stepson. Things spiral fast. The Sassy Six becomes the Sassy Four. One crush ends up in a hospital bed, another moves far away, and just when she thinks it can't get worse, her father forces her into an arranged engagement without a single explanation. But Ree's story is far from over. Just as everything seems lost, secrets start to unravel, about her past, her parents, and a fortune she never knew she had. Turns out, Ree's life isn't falling apart... it's being rearranged.Complete

He knows everyone and is popular amongst his friends. He makes an effort to spend every bit of his free time hanging out with his friends at the lake. When Nicole and William's eyes connect for the first time, neither one can look away. Is there such a thing as love at first sight? I want to think so. *** First Love, Forever Love is the first story that I had the pleasure of writing for a contest. Little did I know that this story would be the catalyst of my passion for writing. I loosely based this story on my husband's and my love story. While much of it is fiction, there are snippets of truth throughout. I hope you enjoy reading my story as much as I enjoyed writing it and revising it for Wattpad.Complete
The Summer of Absolutely Nothing
It's summer - the end of my first year of college. And I am home again, more than a little worse for the wear. College hadn't gone how I had expected it to go. After two years of the grind to get in, I thought I would find the kind of magic I saw in American high school movies, which I had been denied of in school - late nights, parties, wild adventures with whacky best friends, romance.... everything one is told is supposed to happen in one's teenage years. After two years of watching my classmates grow up and enter this world, I thought it was my turn, now. I thought my college life would be like a coming-of-age movie. But in reality? It wouldn't make a good story, of any kind - not even a sad one. The only thing I found were shiftless friends, stifling academic pressure and heartbreak. So now I was home - a little bruised, a little broken. A few dreams in shards around my feet. Turns out, I needn't have worried. The summer that followed changed my life. The summer of - after a hectic, stressful year - nothing at all. Nothing, and yet - everything.Complete
