No human being deserves - or should deserve - to see their family die before them. Especially at age ten, and extra especially at the hands of their own government. Of course that's exactly the type of situation Fi Vespern always found herself in. Depressing and terrible. Watching one's parents be hung left quite the impression. Naturally, after that she'd learnt to filter out the badness, and focus on what was good. At least, she told herself that much. The Lerian Empire ruled more than half the known world. No nation, not even any combined, dared to stand against them. So, of course, Fi found herself in likely the worst situation yet: Leading the rebellion against them. Things are bad, but Fi knows that with the perfect combination of minds, skills, and the occasional black market deal; she can turn this terrible empire into a pure, great one.
