"What's your name?" He questioned again pounding on a big oval table surrounded by other Avengers. The girl disappeared in pink smoke then revealed by the door. "Let's start with tea why don't we," She chimes running out of the door and the building. She listened to the other feet pounding on the ground behind her as the old man spoke. "Your Mad," he screamed stopping to let the others take over. The girl suddenly stopped and so did the Avengers. She turned around and spoke once more. "I'm mostly mad," with that she disappeared into another gust of pink dust leaving the Avengers to begin the chase again.

Phoenix wakes, she is lying on a somewhat soft hospital bed, hooked up to machinery beeping in time with her heartbeat. It starts rapidly beeping in protest, when a flash of fear rushes through her as she realizes she is bound hands and feet to the bed. Her Phoenix and it's fire is there in an instant, but the cuffs don't relinquish. A torrent of flame erupts around her, setting fire to the mattress and sheets, but the frame doesn't budge. "Emergency fire protocol activated. Start oxygen deprivation" a computerized female voice says. Phoenix can hear a hissing sound and then instantly can't catch a breath. As her flames are extinguished, she again falls unconscious. After a rocky start with the Avengers, she found exactly the people to help her haunt the monsters of her past. "I am the monster they made, the monster they are not allowed to forget." And she finds (steamy) love with Natasha Romanoff. Self proclaimed monsters (Loki x reader)
Disclaimer: i wrote this back in high school when i was highly mentally unstable, pulling all nighters, and over exerting myself in all sorts of ways. For you theater kids out there, I wrote a good portion of this during tech week. At no point in this story did i know what was going to happen next. There are plot holes, weird turns in the story, its a little cringy sometimes, and partway into it someone started pressuring me to follow a certain character. There are some funny moments, a little bit of smut, lovable characters. Looking back there are some moments that i really love, but if you are looking for a story that makes a lot of sense and has a strong story you are in the wrong place. This is an unstable teen writing on a whim. You've been warned. With that said go forth and be entertained~ You look down at your hands and quietly whisper to yourself, "Am I some kind of monster?" You hear beeps like someone is putting in a pin on the other side of the door before the door slowly swings open. The man named Tony stark walks into the room. "Hey kiddo, remember me?"
