literally a fallout 3 fan fiction. I had to write this fro school but Im actually really proud of it and I wanted to post it. In a world where the transistor and semiconductor were never created people living in 2077 live like people would have in the 50's. Nuclear power was the strongest weapon that anyone had, the idea of a war broke out in 2076 and the vault- tech companies started creating their vaults, offering space for the most deserving people. Each vault had a specialized niche for people who would reside there. Vault 101 was the vault that went across the grain offering homes to anyone who could pay for it, the vault survived sustaining life for many years. Vault 101 was supplied with enough pip boys (personal identification processor) for their residents to help them live in the vaults. Once the vault doors were sealed no one came in or went out.

***THIS STORY IS BEING REWRITTEN CHAPTER BY CHAPTER*** "War... War never changes." The world has seen many technological advances since the end of the war between Ukraine and Russia, which was both a blessing and a curse. In 2072, a war breaks out between the modern sides of the Allies and the Axis. Americans, Germans and the British Colonies made up the Allies, while Russia, North Korea and China made up the main three of the Axis. The war was at its worst in 2077, when Y/N had just returned from a mission in Russia. He was sent home due to the alleged endangerment of his fellow soldiers; however, this granted him some immunity. His home was in a small town that was populated by no more than 30 people, and nearby was a cryogenics testing facility in the form of a vault. The company that owned it, Vault-Tec, was a government-funded organisation that worked to find ways to preserve human life in the case of global disaster: environmental, nuclear, or otherwise. Due to Y/N's service history, he was allowed into the vault during the nuclear warhead exchange between America and China, and that's where our story starts.
